The NEW CCI OmniRoller Casing Spacers are supplied with a patented runner equipped with an innovative multidirectional assembly designed for the following:

• Maintain cathodic protection between the carrier pipe and casing pipe to prevent premature corrosion
• Reduce the coefficient of friction within the casing pipe for ease of installation
• Allow for longer installations while maintaining the desired grade
• Prevent the carrier pipe from spiraling within the casing pipe during installation, unlike unidirectional rollers

The CCI OmniRoller Casing Spacers are manufactured with an 8” wide Coated Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel shell for nominal carrier pipe sizes ranging from 4” to 24”. Each OmniRoller runner can be supplied with up to 3 multidirectional assemblies depending on the carrier pipe type and application.

The CS|NRI Casing Spacer is a unidirectional fiberglass sleeve sized for a specific pipe diameter to center pipe in casings during installations under roads, at river and railroad crossings, and in downhole applications. Casing Spacers are an extremely robust solution that eliminates traditional integrity issues that can occur when pipes are pulled through casings, protecting the pipe from damage and reducing construction time and future maintenance costs.

BENEFITS:
• Limits movement of pipe at the ends of casing
• Acts as a bumper for wave action on cased pipe
• Reduces pulling friction
• Eliminates coating wear
• Minimizes deflection
• Provides electrical insulation
• Conforms tightly to pipe
• Slides into place with ease
• Installs without disrupting operations
• No special tools to install
• No environmental hazards
• No hot work

The CCI Model CSC12 shall be constructed of circular carbon steel bands, which bolt together forming a shell around the carrier pipe. The casing spacer shall be lined with a ribbed PVC extrusion with a retaining section that overlaps the edges of the shell and prevents slippage. The casing spacer shall be designed with risers and runners to support the carrier pipe within the casing and maintain a minimum clearance of 1.0 in. between the casing ID and the carrier pipe OD.

The CCI Model CSP Polyethylene Casing Spacer is injection molded from high density polyethylene. These spacers provide an economical solution to metallic casing spacers.  The CSP Spacers exhibit low friction, high abrasion resistance which allows the carrier pipe to slide easily and free of damage into the casing pipe. The low moisture absorption and high insulating value of polyethylene electrically insulates the carrier pipe and protects it from electrical current induced corrosion.

The CCI Model CSS8 shall be constructed of circular Stainless Steel bands, which bolt together forming a shell around the carrier pipe. The casing spacer shall be lined with a ribbed PVC extrusion with a retaining section that overlaps the edges of the shell and prevents slippage. The spacer shall be designed using runners with or without risers to support the carrier pipe within the casing and to maintain a minimum clearance of 1.0 in. between the casing ID and the carrier pipe OD.

The runners shall be Glass Filled Polymer with ends of the runners beveled to facilitate installation over rough weld beads or the weld ends of misaligned or deformed casing pipe. The runners shall be attached to support structures (risers) at appropriate positions to properly support the carrier pipe within the casing and to ease installation. They shall have a minimum length of 7.0 in. and a minimum width of 2.0 in.
