The TBK Directional Drilling system is specifically designed to protect welded joints on PE, FBE and HPCC coated pipelines in directional drilling applications. In addition to providing effective protection against pull-through forces that occur during the directional drilling operation, Canusa’s TBK systems provide superior corrosion protection at pipeline weld joints. The product range includes TBK-65, TBK-80 and TBK-PE which are each designed to meet specific application conditions and operating requirements.

The KLON and KLNN sleeves are one piece wraparound sleeves designed for corrosion protection of both offshore and onshore steel pipelines. These sleeves are designed using a High Density polyolefin backing for improved mechanical protection and either a thermoplastic hybrid or a high shear mastic adhesive for easy installation and high corrosion protection.

CANUSA Wrapid Tape™ consists of a crosslinked polyolefin backing, coated with a protective, heat sensitive anticorrosion adhesive which effectively bonds to steel substrates and common pipeline coatings including polyethylene and fusion bonded epoxy. Upon the application of heat, Wrapid Tape™ shrinks down to fully encapsulate the protected substrate. The product is packaged in convenient rolls with various widths to protect and repair pipelines, fittings, bends, elbows and other irregular configurations.
CANUSA Wrapid Tape™ is available in either Black or Yellow 2", 3" 4", or 6" x 50' lengths.

The DDX - Directional Drilling Kit is a high performance system designed to protect welded joints on PP, PE and FBE coated pipelines in directional drilling applications. The DDX system consists of the following key components:

Force-cure epoxy primer applied to steel for maximum corrosion protection. Epoxy primer is only required for 3-layer applications.

Primary sleeve composed of high shear strength adhesive, a protective heat shrinkable HDPE backing, and a pre-attached closure patch.

Sacrificial sleeve incorporated to protect the leading edge of the underlying primary sleeve during pullthrough operation.

In addition to providing effective protection against pull-through forces that occur during the directional drilling operation, Canusa's DDX is a multi-layer system that provides superior corrosion protection at pipeline weld joints.

AquaSeal SG79 is a superior grade, tacky, non-hardening, butyl rubber based extruded filler primarily used to fill transitions at stabbed, bell and spigot joints or other changes in profile below Aqua-Shield™ heat-shrinkable sleeves. It exhibits good adhesion to clean dry surfaces. Its structural integrity and workability allows it to easily conform to pipe joint areas.

AquaSeal RG is a 100% solids extruded mastic material primarily used to fill transitions at stabbed, bell and spigot joints or other changes in profile below Aqua-Shield™ heat-shrinkable sleeves. It exhibits good adhesion to clean dry surfaces.

The GTS-65 Global Transmission Sleeve by Canusa-CPS provides superior corrosion protection and excellent bonding on pipelines operating up to 65°C. GTS-65 has been designed with a unique adhesive technology that remains “open” longer than traditional adhesives. Also, special surface active agents allow bonding to lower surface energy coatings (such as polypropylene). As a result, lower preheat temperatures are required to attain true adhesive wet-out, and superior bonding to PE, PP and FBE surfaces is achieved.
